Audi Q3
Audi India has launched the all-new Audi Q3 at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹51.99 lakh. The compact luxury SUV is locally assembled at the Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The new Q3 combines a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with quattro all-wheel drive, a redesigned digital cockpit and updated lighting technology. Audi is positioning the model as an entry point into its luxury SUV range, with an emphasis on performance, technology and everyday usability.
Engine and performance
The new Audi Q3 produces 150 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque from its 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine. Audi claims a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 7.1 seconds.
Power is delivered through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while quattro all-wheel drive provides traction across all four wheels. The SUV also gets progressive steering, comfort suspension and Audi drive select with five modes: Balanced, Dynamic, Comfort, Efficiency and Offroad+.
Hill-hold assist and downhill assist are included to support driving on inclines and descents.
Updated design and lighting technology
The exterior gets Digital Matrix LED headlights incorporating 25,600 micro-LEDs, four selectable daytime-running-light signatures and three dynamic light projections. LED rear lights and illuminated Audi rings add to the lighting package.
The Q3 rides on 18-inch five-arm aero alloy wheels and features a panoramic sunroof. Audi is offering five exterior colours: Sage Green, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Navarra Blue and Tambora Grey. Interior colour choices include Tamarind Brown and Pergament Beige.
A more digital cabin
The dashboard features Audi’s panoramic digital display, comprising a 30.22 cm Virtual Cockpit and a 32.51 cm MMI touchscreen. A head-up display projects key driving information into the driver’s line of sight.
The cabin also gets a 12-speaker SONOS premium sound system with a 420-watt amplifier, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and ambient lighting with 30 colour options.
Audi has introduced an integrated switch module that relocates the gear selector and consolidates lighting and wiper controls, freeing up space on the centre console.
Comfort, practicality and safety
The new Q3 includes power-adjustable front seats, driver-seat memory, three-zone automatic climate control and electrically operated luggage-compartment access. The rear seats can slide and recline, allowing occupants to adjust the balance between passenger comfort and luggage space.
Parking assistance includes a rear-view camera and reversing assist with 50-metre reverse-route memory.
Safety equipment includes nine airbags, adaptive cruise control, front emergency brake assist and a driver-attention and fatigue monitor. Audi says its driver-assistance systems have been tailored for India.
Ownership packages and introductory offers
Audi is offering roadside assistance packages with coverage of up to 15 years, service packages of up to 10 years and extended-warranty packages of up to 10 years.
The company has also announced introductory offers combining comprehensive service packages with a 2+3-year extended warranty. Finance options include long-duration loans, balloon-payment structures and assured buyback offers.
Buyers should confirm the eligibility, coverage, exclusions and pricing of these packages with an authorised Audi dealership before booking.
At ₹51.99 lakh ex-showroom, the new Audi Q3 brings together a 204 PS-equivalent petrol engine, quattro all-wheel drive and a substantially technology-focused cabin. Its lighting system, digital displays and driver-assistance equipment are among the main highlights of the update.
Local assembly and extended ownership-package options are also relevant for buyers considering long-term ownership. The final purchase decision, however, will depend on the on-road price, variant availability and the service and warranty package selected.
The new Q3 strengthens Audi’s offering in the compact luxury SUV segment. For buyers, the next step is to evaluate its final on-road cost and equipment against competing models before making a booking.
